Singapore Sling | Cocktail
- 37 ml gin
- 12 ml Cherry Heering
- 12 ml Benedictine
- 25 ml lemon juice
- 2 dashes orange bitters
- 2 dashes Angostura Bitters
- a dash of soda water
- Lemon slice
This is how the Singapore Sling is prepared:
Chill highball glass with soda water. Add all ingredients to mixing bowl and fill with ice. Shake vigorously for 10 seconds. Taste. Fill highball glass with ice and pour drink through strainer into glass. Top with soda water, add straw and garnish with a slice of lemon.

The Singapore Sling is a cocktail that was developed sometime before 1915 by Ngiam Tong Boon, a bartender who worked at the "Long Bar" at Raffles Hotel Singapore.
